Senate debates bill concerning the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement



On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, the Senate will debate the bill concerning the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (Trb. 2014, No. 160) with Prime Minister Rutte and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Koenders. The debate will be broadcasted on the website of the Senate. Any votes concerning the bill will take place on May 30, 2017.

The debate starts at 13.45 pm on Tuesday afternoon; eleven of the twelve political groups in the Senate have subscribed to the debate. 

After a break, the debate will resume at 18.40 pm with the cabinet's response, followed by a second term of both Senate and cabinet. The debate is expected to last until approximately 23:00 pm.
